Campaign Schools – More Dates Added – Online and In-person

Your chance to learn more and get involved!

The USW is adding more dates in September and October for our virtual campaign schools in preparation for the next federal election. We’re also offering an in-person school in Edmonton, Sept. 9-13.

These schools are great opportunities to learn about politics, build a network of engaged Steelworkers and volunteer for the NDP.

Elections matter and Steelworker involvement can make a difference.

If you’ve attended a Steelworkers Vote course before – apply to attend Steelworkers Vote at the Campaigner level.

Be ready to work! While virtual, these are intense schools running over three days including volunteer hours each evening of the course.

Local unions must approve and support the participation of accepted applicants. Local unions will be reimbursed for participant lost time by the USW International Office.**

Don’t delay. Apply today. NextGENers and first-time participants particularly welcome.

“Being a part of Steelworkers Vote has helped me gain knowledge and experience to be a part of exciting campaigns in future elections. I will carry the information and connections made during the course with me for many years. Thank you, Steelworkers for putting on such an amazing class.”
