You are now part of our International Union which represents 225,000 members in nearly every economic sector across Canada and is the largest private-sector union in North America, with 850,000 members in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean.
In Canada, the USW has three regional districts and a National Office headquartered in Toronto. You are a member of District 3 representing members in Western Canada and the Territories.
Our union is run by and for our members. You are immediately supported and represented by your local union. The elected officers and representatives in your local union, supported by USW staff, are committed to providing you with the information and support you need.
