USW District 3’s Manitoba Legislative Conference will be held at the Manitoba Legislature in Winnipeg from Tues., Nov. 3 to Thurs., Nov. 5, 2026.
We are asking our Manitoba locals to take part in this important advocacy and help bring the voices and priorities of Steelworkers directly to the Manitoba government. The lobby will include meetings with Premier Wab Kinew, government ministers, and the Manitoba NDP Caucus, as well as a social component with Manitoba NDP MLAs.
Members should plan to travel to Winnipeg on Mon., Nov. 2, with lobby meetings taking place Tuesday through Thursday. Further information on the schedule, lobby training and the issues we will be raising will be provided to registered participants closer to the date.
A block of rooms will be reserved at the Humphry Inn and Suites, 260 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1A9.
