Exciting news! This summer, the FCEF is accepting large-scale project submissions on a rolling basis. Send us your large project submissions any time over the summer! As always, there are no deadlines to submit to the FCEF for projects under $5,000. Submit your project application today!

If you didn’t already know, the Family & Community Education Fund (FCEF) provides money to local unions to host events of any size. This is a great opportunity to get support in hosting membership and community engagement events. The FCEF funds projects that include an educational component and that meet at least one of the following themes:

  • Supporting Steelworker families
  • Promoting USW in the community
  • Supporting and engaging young activists
  • Supporting and engaging new activists
