Join the USW District 6 NextGen Committee’s Movember Campaign!

August 25, 2021

Movember-2021Once again this year, the USW District 6 NextGen Committee is raising money for the annual Movember campaign!

Every November, the global Movember campaign encourages people to grow moustaches to raise awareness around prostate and testicular cancer – both of which are some of the leading causes of premature death among men.

For this year’s campaign, the District 6 NextGen committee is raising funds through the sale of unique, long-sleeve T-shirts. The shirts are now on sale and all money raised will be donated to Movember Canada in support of prostate and testicular cancer awareness.

The pandemic has caused incredible issues for our health, our jobs and our mental well-being. Please make sure to take care of yourself, get regular check-ups, including screening for cancer. Early detection is key!

The deadline for ordering has been extended to Monday, September 27, so don’t delay – support this great cause and get your order form here!

When you receive your shirt, please take a selfie and post it using the hashtag #USWMOVEMBER2021 and #USWNEXTGEN.

The USW District 6 NextGen Committee works to develop leadership, community service, and political activism among activists 35 years old or younger in District 6.
