Mark your calendars: District 3 School, Sept. 13-18, 2026 – Cranbrook, B.C.

Dear staff and local unions:

Once again, District 3 will be holding the District School at St. Eugene in Cranbrook, B.C. This year’s school will begin with an opening on the evening of September 13, 2026 and conclude at lunch on September 18, 2026.

We are pleased to let you know that we will be offering the following courses:

  • Arbitration – Prepare and Present 
  • Facing Management
  • Globalization – Bargaining in a borderless world
  • Leadership – Individual and local development
  • Mental Health – Understanding, representing and supporting our members
  • Discrimination and Harassment – Trade union values and legal obligations

The cost will be $2,100, which includes meals, course registration and accommodations. 

Course descriptions and the registration link will be available soon, but we wanted to make sure this information is available for local union meetings starting in May.
