The Canadian National Office (CNO) has prepared pamphlets for distribution to our locals, and we would like to highlight a couple of important updates:

Orange Shirts for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
We have created pamphlets that can be printed and distributed to our locals. These pamphlets include a QR code allowing individuals to order orange shirts before the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Additionally, locals planning to host Unionism on Turtle Island can use this opportunity to order shirts for their participants.

Indigenous Art Contest
A pamphlet outlining the details of the Indigenous art contest hosted by the CNO has been distributed to staff. Unfortunately, we have not received many entries thus far. To encourage more participation, the deadline for submissions has been extended, and we will now accept entries on an ongoing basis. We aim to create some “swag” featuring the submitted art, and we look forward to showcasing your creative contributions.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with Julia McKay at jmckay@usw.ca.

In solidarity,

Scott Lunny
