How to submit a claim

The Steelworkers Trusteed Benefit Plan

USW Staff and members who are participants in the Steelworkers Trusteed Benefit Plan can now submit benefit claims online using ClaimSecure, a health claims management company.

Submitting benefit claims through ClaimSecure

Benefit claims should be made as soon as possible to ensure prompt payment. Claims must be submitted within 90 days of the date the claim arises.

Login to your ClaimSecure electronic profile (eProfile) at www.ClaimSecure.com. Click the eProfile Login link in the upper right of the home page or scroll down to the eProfile login on the home page.

ClaimSecure also offers an eProfile app for mobile devices. Download the ClaimSecure app from your app store or find links to the app from www.ClaimSecure.com.

To get started, you’ll need to set up your ClaimSecure eProfile:

Go to www.claimsecure.com

  1. Click on eProfile Login (top-right corner)
  2. Click on Register Now
  3. Click Start and follow the prompts. You will be asked to agree to terms and conditions, fill out a wellness and user profile and submit your direct deposit information.

During the registration process, you will receive a username and password by email and gain access to your personalized page, where you can click on the “My Claims” tab and file claims (dental, drug, vision, extended health, hospital and health services spending account if applicable).
