The Workers Health and Safety Centre (WHSC) is offering Post-Secondary Scholarships and Labour Studies Bursaries for Ontario students.
Post-Secondary Scholarships are being offered to Ontario students entering full-time or part-time studies at a publicly funded Ontario college or university. The top two essays will be recognized with $2000 scholarships, in honour of the late Clifford Pilkey, WHSC’s founder and social justice champion, Fred Upshaw. Up to three additional entries will be selected to receive $1,000 each.
Three $1000 Labour Studies Bursaries are being offered to Ontario students having already completed one year in a labour studies program, in honour of the late Wally Majesky. These bursaries are available at and administered by Brock University, Laurentian University and McMaster University.
