As Remembrance Day approaches, we are reminded of the sacrifices made by our brave folks in the armed forces. This day serves as an important reminder to honour and remember those who have given their lives for our freedom.

We would like to encourage all our locals and members to participate in Remembrance Day activities in their communities, whether it be attending a memorial service, laying a wreath on behalf of your local union, wearing a poppy, or simply taking a moment of silence to reflect on the sacrifices made by our military personnel.

By participating in Remembrance Day activities, we show our support and gratitude to our veterans and their families. Let us come together as a union to honour and remember those who have served with courage and dedication.

Thank you for your participation and support on this important day.

In solidarity,

The USW District 3 Veterans of Steel Committee
