USW District 3 Member Survey

October 29, 2022

USW District 3 is doing a short survey of the membership. This will enable us to help focus priorities and to make sure the union is doing a good job for its membership.

The survey will take place in two steps:

  1. Stratcom (a USW-certified polling company) will call or text members to update their contact information.
    – USW District 3 will email members (whose contact information we have) to update their contact information using an online form at usw.ca/d3update.
  2. Stratcom will utilize membership contact information to send out an anonymous online survey link.

We anticipate that calling will begin Monday, October 31, 2022.

All information collected in this research is strictly confidential. District 3 will receive the survey results in aggregate tabular form only, meaning that individual responses will remain anonymous and will not be reported back to the District. Stratcom is bound by federal privacy rules, regulations and standards imposed by PIPEDA and the American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR).

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. By completing this survey, participants will be provided with the opportunity to enter a draw to win one of eight VISA gift cards (2 x $100 and 6 x $50) and USW swag packages.

Please feel free to share the contact information form link (usw.ca/d3update) with members so that they can be contacted for their opinion and the opportunity to win some prizes.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact Jonathan Karmazinuk
