November 30, 2016

Dear Comrades,

During this Holiday Season, our thoughts turn to our families and friends as we begin to think about spending some much-needed quality time with our loved ones.

Additionally, we think of others who are less fortunate in our communities and around the world. It’s those thoughts that make us strive for equality, social justice and a better life for all.

As trade unionists, we devote ourselves to creating a better future for our members, their families as well as our communities in an ever-changing world and a global economy. Even with the many forces against us, Steelworkers continue to bargain positive change for our members – we should be very proud of those accomplishments. With the strength of our members, retirees, activists, and our local union leadership our Union will continue to take on the challenges which will allow our children and grandchildren to have a brighter future.

I take this opportunity to wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

In solidarity,

Marty Warren
District 6 Director
