Riding for a cause: The Rolling Barrage 2025

USW District 3 recently revved up its support for The Rolling Barrage, a coast-to-coast motorcycle ride that raises awareness and funds for veterans and first responders battling post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The roar of engines across Canada echoed a message of solidarity, healing and hope. It’s a ride that’s not just about the miles; it’s about the mission.

Next year will be the event’s 10th anniversary. The District 3 Veterans of Steel Committee will be challenging all locals to support this inspiring ride.

If the ride is coming through your town or city, we encourage you to inform your members and have those who ride show up in Steelworker gear and ride along for a portion in support.

There are also options to support the event through sponsorship if your local is willing and able to do so. For example, you could pay for all the riders to have a full tank of gas when they come through your area, or the local can just donate to the Rolling Barrage.

You can learn more about the ride at therollingbarrage.com.

In solidarity,
