What happens in the washroom is a personal issue.

Many folks have different needs when it comes to the washroom, but it is likely that everybody has to use one during their workday. This needs to be something that everyone should have access to.

We have heard stories from folks that lead us to believe that not everyone has the dignity of a usable washroom and we are now asking for your help in letting us know what is happening in our workplaces.

Please help us learn what we can do to make it better for Steelworkers in our union.

The first way is to fill out this online survey and let us know what the situation is like in your workplace.

The survey is confidential, unless you want to share your story, you can also let us know if you are willing to share it. Once we have an idea of what the issues are, we will then look to see if there are certain industries, workplaces or governments that we need to pressure to make it better.

You can also print the survey and either bring them to your local office to have them sent to the district office, you can scan them and send them to makeitbetter@usw.ca or mail them to the district at 300-3920 Norland Ave, Burnaby, B.C., V5R 4K7.

If you have any concerns, input or questions or strategies, please send us an email at makeitbetter@usw.ca
